Almarai Reports SAR 1.99 Billion Profit for the First Nine Months of 2025 Driven by Sector Expansion and Product Diversification

ูAgrame 2025

Almarai Company announced a net profit of SAR 1,991.3 million for the first nine months of 2025, marking a 6% increase compared to the same period last year.
The company also reported a third-quarter profit of SAR 613.2 million, reflecting 8% year-on-year growth.

According to Almarai, this growth was primarily due to a 5% rise in revenues during the period, attributed to the positive performance across all sectors and sales channels, which led to a solid increase in net income.

Operational Sector Performance

Almaraiโ€™s main business segments showed strong performance during the period, contributing collectively to higher profitability:

๐Ÿฅ› Dairy and Juice Sector: Net profit increased compared to last year, driven by overall sales growth and improved cost management.

๐Ÿž Bakery Sector: Profit rose due to an enhanced sales mix and better revenue composition.

๐Ÿ— Poultry Sector: Net profit increased as revenues grew, supported by higher sales volumes from the first phase of the poultry expansion project and economies of scale.

Third Quarter Highlights

During the third quarter of 2025, Almarai recorded a 7% increase in revenues, driven by robust growth across key markets and sales channels โ€” particularly in poultry, dairy, food, and bottled water.
This contributed to an 8% rise in net profit, supported by revenue growth, cost control, product mix diversification, and lower financing costs.

Performance by sector for the quarter:

Dairy and Juices: Higher profits due to increased sales and effective cost control.

Bakery: Improved profitability resulting from a stronger revenue mix.

Poultry: A slight decline in net profit compared to last year, partially offset by higher sales volumes from the ongoing expansion phase and scale efficiencies.

Despite a 5% increase in revenues compared to the previous quarter, net profit decreased by 5%, reflecting seasonal changes in consumer behavior.

Additional Financial Indicators

Shareholdersโ€™ equity (excluding minority interest) reached SAR 20,042.54 million by the end of the period, compared to SAR 18,555.51 million a year earlier.
Earnings per share (EPS) rose to SAR 2.01, up from SAR 1.91 in the same period of 2024.

Strategic Expansion

Almarai also announced on July 31, 2025, the completion of its acquisition of Al Mashrabiyat Al Naqiya for Industry, following the signing of the acquisition agreement on June 15, 2025.
The SAR 1.04 billion deal aligns with Almaraiโ€™s strategy to strengthen its presence in the beverage sector, expand its product portfolio, and support long-term growth plans while creating added value for shareholders.
