In a move reflecting its commitment to diversifying activities and strengthening investments in the food sector, Naqi Water announced the receipt of 100,000 birds as the first batch under the plan to supply vital assets for its poultry project, pursuant to a partnership agreement signed with Al-Bayadh Farms Ltd.

The company stated in a press release on the Tadawul website that this batch coincides with the completion of the poultry housing facilities, marking the start of the projectโ€™s first operational phase.

Back in August, Naqi Water announced the signing of a vital asset purchase agreement (Hy-Line Brown layer chicks) worth SAR 790,000 as the initial phase of the poultry sector project execution plan. The project aims to establish a fully integrated production base that contributes to achieving self-sufficiency in poultry products in the Kingdom.

The new project represents a strategic step toward diversifying revenue streams and expanding the companyโ€™s activities beyond the bottled water sector. It also supports the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, which seeks to enhance food security and develop the agricultural and livestock sectors in the Kingdom.
