Saudi Arabia Strengthens Veterinary Vaccine Localization Through Strategic Partnership with Boehringer Ingelheim

H.E. Eng. Mansour Al-Mushaiti, Vice Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, witnessed the signing of a strategic trilateral MoU between the National Livestock and Fisheries Development Program (NLFDP), ANIVAX, and Boehringer Ingelheim, a global leader in animal health.

The partnership aims to accelerate the localization and manufacturing of veterinary vaccines in Saudi Arabia, support the establishment of a National Antigen Bank, strengthen R&D activities, and enhance disease prevention and epidemic preparedness.

The agreement aligns with Saudi Vision 2030 and reinforces the Kingdom’s commitment to developing advanced biotechnology industries, strengthening veterinary health security, and positioning Saudi Arabia as a global hub for veterinary biotechnology and animal health innovation.
