SALIC Announces Integration of Continental Farmers Group CFG into Olam Agri

SALIC, a Public Investment Fund subsidiary, announced today the integration of Continental Farmers Group (CFG) into Olam Agri, as part of its strategy to strengthen integration across its global investments and build a more connected, efficient, and resilient agrifood ecosystem.

This integration marks a new phase in CFG’s growth journey. Wholly owned by SALIC, CFG has undergone years of development and expansion, building a strong operational base in Ukraine. The move is expected to broaden CFG’s presence across agrifood value chains, enable access to new markets, and leverage Olam Agri’s commercial, operational, and logistics capabilities to support its long-term growth and expansion.

SALIC affirmed that this step is part of its efforts to maximize value and strengthen integration across its portfolio companies, supporting CFG’s long-term growth prospects and reinforcing its position as one of Ukraine’s leading agrifood companies. It also reflects SALIC’s continued confidence in Ukraine’s agricultural sector and its future potential.

Olam Agri is a leading global agrifood company operating in more than 30 countries, with extensive capabilities across sourcing, trading, processing, logistics, and distribution. The integration is expected to expand Olam Agri’s sourcing options by leveraging CFG’s agricultural and operational strengths in key crops, while improving efficiency across the value chain.

Earlier this year, SALIC announced an increase in its ownership stake in Olam Agri to 80.01%, in a transaction valued at approximately USD 1.88 billion. The transaction reflects SALIC’s direction to build a more integrated global agrifood ecosystem that connects its local and international investments while strengthening supply chain resilience and readiness.

The integration of Continental Farmers Group into Olam Agri marks another step in advancing SALIC’s strategy, strengthening integration across its global portfolio and supporting long-term growth and value creation.

SALIC acquired Continental Farmers Group in 2018 and has since supported its growth and expansion, helping it become one of Ukraine’s prominent agricultural companies. Today, the company manages nearly 200,000 hectares of agricultural land in western Ukraine, operates storage facilities with a capacity of approximately 530,000 tons, and produces more than one million tons of grain annually, strengthening its position in the Ukrainian agricultural sector.
